Biography

Jim Rowan has served as a member of our board of directors since September 2025. He was Chief Executive Officer at Volvo Cars from March 2022 to April 2025. Jim previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Ember Technologies, Inc. from February 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, Jim was at Dyson, where he served as Chief Executive Officer from 2017 to 2020, Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2017 and as a director from 2012 to 2020. Jim has served as a director for several public and private companies, including Volvo Cars, Henkel GMBH and Nanofilm PTE. He holds a Master’s degree in Business with specialization in supply chain 145 management and logistics from Northumbria University. Jim also holds an HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University.
