Jim Rowan has served as a member of our board of directors since September 2025. He was Chief Executive Officer at Volvo Cars from March 2022 to April 2025. Jim previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Ember Technologies, Inc. from February 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, Jim was at Dyson, where he served as Chief Executive Officer from 2017 to 2020, Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2017 and as a director from 2012 to 2020. Jim has served as a director for several public and private companies, including Volvo Cars, Henkel GMBH and Nanofilm PTE. He holds a Master’s degree in Business with specialization in supply chain 145 management and logistics from Northumbria University. Jim also holds an HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University.
Zhoujia “Brad” Bao is one of our co-founders and has served as chair of our board of directors since May 2020. Brad previously served as our Chief Executive Officer from July 2017 to May 2020. Brad co-founded One Market Inc. (DBA Pear.us) in July 2021 and has served as its Chief Executive Officer since its founding. He previously served as Managing Partner of Kinzon Capital from September 2013 to April 2017 and also held various roles between 2005 to 2013 for Tencent Holdings Limited. Brad also serves as a director or board member of several private companies. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a B.B.A. in International Marketing from Wuhan University.
Elizabeth Hamren has served as a member of our board of directors since March 2026. Elizabeth has served as the CEO of AllTrails, an app-based service to connect people with the great outdoors, since August 2025. She was previously the CEO of Ring Inc. from March 2023 to June 2025. Prior to that, she served as the COO of Discord from December 2021 to March 2023, and served in various roles at Microsoft between March 2017 and December 2021. She also serves as a board member of several other companies. Elizabeth holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University.
Andrew Macdonald has served as a member of our board of directors since June 2022. He has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Uber since June 2025. Andrew was previously Uber’s Senior Vice President, Head of Global Mobility from 2019 to June 2025 and held various general management and regional leadership roles between 2012 and 2019. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at Bain & Company between 2007 to 2010 and later co-founded multiple early-stage private companies. He has been a director of Maple Leaf Foods Inc. since May 2023 and previously served on the boards of Careem Technologies Holding Ltd. from 2023 to July 2025 and Rise Asset Development from August 2019 to December 2023. Andrew holds an H.B.A. from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Brandon Pedersen has served as a member of our board of directors since August 2025. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alaska Air Group, Inc. from June 2010 to March 2020 and previously served as Vice President Finance and Corporate Controller from 2003 to 2010. Prior to his positions at Alaska Air, Brandon served as audit partner at KPMG LLP from 2001 to 2003 and at Arthur Anderson LLP from 2001 to 2000. He also serves on the boards and audit committees of Trivago N.V., Saltchuk and Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. Brandon holds a B.A. in Business Administration (Accounting) and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.
Sarah Smith has served as a member of our board of directors since June 2020. Sarah founded and has served as Managing Partner of Sarah Smith Fund, a venture capital firm, since October 2022. She was previously a Partner of Bain Capital Ventures from May 2018 to May 2022. Prior to that, Sarah served as Vice President of Sales, Operations, Human Resources and Recruiting of Quora from August 2012 to September 2017. She also serves as a board observer or board member to several private companies. Sarah holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.M. in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Wayne Ting has served as our Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our board of directors since May 2020. From October 2018 to May 2020, Wayne served as our Global Head of Operations and Strategy. Wayne previously served as Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer for Uber Technologies, Inc. from July 2017 to October 2018. He also held the position of General Manager for Uber’s Northern California operations from 2015 to 2017. Prior to joining Uber, Wayne served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the National Economic Council in the White House from May 2012 to May 2014. Wayne has served on the board of Cimpress PLC, a multinational technology company, since May 2025. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Columbia University.
